Purpose:
You have recently completed a practical on the above and written this up in your laboratory
manual..
The purpose of this report is to give you practice in presenting Word Processed reports.
You are expected to redo that practical report using Word, scanning of graphs and if useful, Excel.
As with any reports you should have the following sections:
Aim
Theory (Expected graph shapes can be drawn with excel or a software program)
Method (Draw diagram labelled using software program)
Results (Include scanned graphs)
Discussion
Conclusion
References
In this report you will need to calculate any useful quantities that can be determined from the
graphs and compare them with expected values. This means you will need to alter all aspects of
your report (Aim, Theory, Method, Results, Discussion and Conclusion).
A checklist is included on the back page to ensure you have covered all the ingredients for a high
quality report.
DO NOT INCLUDE ANY WORK WHICH IS NOT YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK UNLESS
SPECIFICALLY REFERENCED.
The report is submitted on paper to your teacher and as a file to
turnitin. If the graphs do not show up on turnitin do not worry.
