theory, an organisation will be impacted by different internal and external forces which affect its
operational climate (Pierce, Cameron, Banko, & So, 2003; Rusu & Avasilcai, 201). The inbuilt
mechanism of how an organisation responds to these challenges depends on its culture and
climate. The two dictates the values, beliefs, systems, perceptions, attitudes, and others elements
of daily practices shared within the organisation. While organisation culture and climate may be
similar, they differ in a number of ways. This study will look at the differences in organisational
culture and climate and how this affects employee motivation and commitment.
