MAIDSTONE MELBOURNE REPORT

ABSTRACT

Maidstone is a greenbelt of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is situated eight kilometers
North West of the Central Business District of Melbourne and it falls under the local area
governments’ jurisdiction of the city of Maribyrnong (Whereis.com, 2018). This is a report on
Maidstone suburb situated in Melbourne city. The report is aimed at authenticating and making
findings on why Melbourne city and particularly the suburban locale of Maidstone are
considered the best place to reside in the whole world. The report aims to delve into and make
detailed research on the human and physical environments found in Melbourne, particularly in
Maidstone that accord it the status of the most livable place in the world. Therefore, our research
is aimed at evaluation and conceptualization of the physical and human factors that have
contributed to Maidstone’s consecutive and dominant ranking as the best place to reside in,
compared to all the other cities in the world. Furthermore, the report will examine the different
skepticisms leveled against Melbourne’s luster ranking that has continued now for the seventh
year running.
