Post conflict Political and Economic Building

In the history of the world, nations have experienced pre-conflict, conflict, and post-conflict periods. However, some nations have emerged strong from such conflicts while others remain a ticking bombshell. Political and economic development post conflict plays a critical role in averting future conflict and building a cohesive nation where everyone feel accommodated (Nadjaldongar, 2008). Looking at the countries that have experienced conflicts in the recent past, it is evident them most of them remain unstable for a long period of time, partly because post conflict political and economic development does not happen within the confines of the factors that initially caused the conflict. While we have a success story in a country like Rwanda that has emerged as strong society post conflict, we have failures like Timor that remains in perpetual unending cycle of conflicts (Nadjaldongar, 2008)
