A planning system is the prcess and procedure in place for planning of cities ad regions, systems for enforcements, and institutional settings governing the planning process. UK Planning Systems
Under the existing UK legislation, there is a comprehensive definition of developments
that are subjected to planning permission, which includes building, engineering, mining, and
other operations on, over, or under land, or any action that involves making material changes to
an existing building or land (Hilber, 2016). Such developments therefore require approval from
